Birmingham NEC 1st - 3rd October 2010

We are pleased to announce that we will be attending ‘A Place in the Sun Live’ which is taking place at Birmingham NEC at the beginning of October. This exhibition is the UK’s only dedicated overseas properties show and will attract exhibitors from over 40 different countries.

In addition to the hundreds of exhibitors there will also be free-to-attend seminars to give help and advice on buying your dream property abroad, and question and answer sessions from the presenters of Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun. The show will have areas dedicated to certain countries including Turkey, and for those of you thinking about leaving the UK for good, there will be emigration seminars running throughout the three day event.

David Cameron has promised to "fight" for Turkey's membership of the European Union, saying he is "angry" at the slow pace of negotiations.

On his first visit to Turkey as Prime Minister, he said the country could become a "great European power", helping build links with the Middle East.

In a speech at the Turkish parliament in Ankara, Mr Cameron said he wanted to "pave the road" for Turkey to join the EU, saying the country was "vital for our economy, vital for our security and vital for our diplomacy".

He said "A European Union without Turkey at its heart was "not stronger but weaker... not more secure but less... not richer but poorer".
